 Erica Barnes Fields is the Associate Director of an agricultural education program that awards grants and delivers training to help farmers and ranchers manage key risks: production, price, financial, legal, and human. She is also a licensed therapist, Certified Financial Social Worker, and national speaker.

With over a decade of experience in agriculture, Erica has seen firsthand how financial pressures in rural communities can quietly build before becoming a crisis. As a financial social worker, she speaks with urgency, empathy, and expertise about the critical connection between financial stress and mental health.
